PLANNED HOSPITALIZATION MANAGEMENT IN A CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL: EVALUATION OF EFFICIENCY

Abstract.

The article shows the results of evaluation of efficiency of the planned hospitalization management system, introduced in the city clinical hospital №9 (Ekaterinburg). It was estimated that due to this managerial decision some positive changes have been noted in the hospital work: the number of groundless cases of hospitalization was reduced, the number of patients fully will complete examination in the out-patient department has increased, the number of patients hospitalized on the weekends and in the afternoons has reducer, the number of patients whose treatment started from the first day of hospitalization has increased and the number of difference of diagnoses was reduced.
