Abstract.
The article contains analysis of modern legislative base of the Russian Federation on the issues of legal regulation of assisted reproductive technologies (ART). The author gives examples of difficult situations not regulated at the legislative level, including those related to the legal personality of the embryo. The solution of these issues is connected not only with legal regulation, but also moral and ethical principles.
