Especially critical is situation in small and average municipal units and as a result the patient flows are being directed to the regional health care institutions and the children – to the municipal clinical hospital N 9 (city Ekaterinburg). Thus, the work of local health care services has to be further improved from professional and managerial point of view. Regional scientific-technical complex “Microsurgery of Eye” is developing strategic program aiming to widen its sphere of activities and is arranging its representative offices – consultancy-diagnostic centers around the whole Oblast, that will increase the accessibility of population to ophthalmologic care.
