Abstract.
A new approach to modeling of structural and functional changes in biological tissues under pathologies is considered. We use the approach based on the simple Hook and Newton mechanical models combined in a spatial structure. A topology of the structure generally corresponds to an architecture of the main structural elements of biological tissues. Mechanical model of myocardial tissue is presented as an example of typical biological tissue possessing nonlinear stress-strain dependence. It is shown the possibility to choose of the model with optimal agreement of model response and experimental data. Thus it might be obtained some conclusions about morphological structure of biological tissue in health and disease.
