Studying of the Content of Oxide of Nitrogen in the Organism of Young and Old Rats after L-Arginine Injection

Abstract.
Studying of the content of oxide of nitrogen by an electrometric method in various tissues after L-argininе injection at young and old rats is carried out. It was shown that with age the content of oxide of nitrogen in an organism decreased, thus the imbalance of its production increased in various organs. It reflects progressing of organ dysfunction when aging. Injection of L-argininе was induced by increase of the content of oxide of nitrogen in tissues of young and old rats. Recovery of the content of oxide of nitrogen in various tissues of old animals after injection of L-argininе can be related to geroproteсtory effect of this amino acid.
