Abstract.
Experimental work aims at manifestation of circadian rhythms of white male-rats typed WISTAR and disclosure of consistent patterns and sodium oxybutyrate effect on time regulations of laboratory animal bodies’ temperature change peculiarities. Rectal temperature of rats’ bodies was taken every 4 hours on a round-the-clock basis both in the setting of sodium oxybutyrate use and without it. The experiments managed to disclose consistent patterns body temperature changes of the laboratory animals, depending on the time of day. During experimenting it was found out that the administration of sodium oxybutyrate favoured the increase of rhythm range within all 24-hours, diurnal mean value of rhythm decrease, which indicates sodium oxybutyrate inhibitory effect. The maximal body temperature decrease in the setting of sodium oxybutyrate use appeared during the hours of darkness when rhythm bathy-period was supposed to be.

Key words:
oxybutyrate, chronopharmacology, circadian rhythms, temperature of rats’ bodies.
