Abstract.
The estimation of the velocity parameters of left ventricular (LV) longitudinal function was carried out by pulsed tissue Doppler (TD) after coronary stenting (CS) in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI). The analysis suggests that we can identify systolic and diastolic dysfunction of longitudinal myocardial fibers by TD data. This is especially important for the case with unchanged ejection fraction (EF). We also identified key TD indicators showing severity of myocardial injury.

Key words:
tissue Doppler echocardiography, coronary stenting, reperfusion syndrome, stunned myocardium, longitudinal systolic and diastolic function of the left ventricle.
