Remodeling of the Vasculature of Ischemic Tissues by Means of De Novo Formation of Blood Vessels Due to Ectopic Expression of Angiogenic Factors

Abstract.

In a simulated ischemia, the direct introduction into the myocardium multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells pre transfected by genes angiogenesis factors provides the complete restore vascular network formation and anastomoses with intact vasculature that leads to the restoration of perfusion in the ischemic region and the functional activity of the myocardium.
