Abstract.
The article presents data characterizing the personnel and activities of nutrition departments in health care organizations of various technological type located in Sverdlovsk Oblast. It is estimated, that these auxiliary departments are characterized by low staffing level as well as low salary level. The problem of effectiveness of outsourcing for catering of the patients of in-patient hospitals departments is considered.
