Abstract. The results of a comparative analysis of morbidity at different latitudes of the Russian Federation for the period 1995-2012 and 2000-2012 yy were presented. It was shown that the average values of morbidity in the Euro Arctic region are not associated with latitude, but rather depends on the regional peculiarities of the environmental contamination, including the manmade radionuclide. A link between the overall morbidity of the population in various regions of Russia, the incidence of the main types of the diseases and variations of the heliogeophysical agents was revealed. It was found that the decrease of the solar activity (SA) lead to the increase of morbidity in Russia Federation. The increase of the neoplasm’s, diseases, diseases of the blood and bloodforming organs and certain disorders involving the immune mechanism, increase in congenital malformations in children and pregnancy abnormalities under decrease of the Solar activity and increase of the intensity of Cosmic rays were revealed. A trend in the nature of the link between the incidence of the nervous system diseases, geomagnetic activity and latitude was estimated.

Key words: morbidity, heliogeophysical factors, EuroArctic Region, contaminants, radionuclides
