Abstract. The diseases caused by enteroviruses, are a serious public health problem in many countries. Pantropizm enteroviruses and the existence of multiple serotypes of enterovirus infections are difficult to diagnose. In the analysis of 141 cases of enteroviral meningitis at children aged from 3 to 14 years from 2003 to 2010. Methods of laboratory diagnosis established etiological agents of enterovirus infection — viruses ECHO and Coxsackie B. In a clinical picture of a modern enterovirus infection traditionally leading place is taken by a syndrome of defeat of the central nervous system. From the common infection symptoms fever, throat congestion, enlarged tonsils and lymph nodes had the greatest value.

Key words: enteroviruses, laboratory diagnostics, clinic.
