Abstract. The paper presents the data obtained as a result of a preliminary analysis of peripheral renal hemodynamics in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and chronic renal failure (CRF) by ultrasound (U.S.). Of all the studied parameters were the most significant maximum systolic velocity (V max) and peripheral resistance indices, which differ significantly in patients with chronic renal failure and evidence of disease progression. In addition, it is determined that patients with CKD without signs of renal failure have one of the indices increase peripheral resistance, which may be regarded as its earliest predecessor.

Key words: chronic kidney disease, chronic renal failure, renal blood flow.
