Abstract. The results of the analysis of the set of informative indicators of heart rate variability using principal components as in healthy individuals and in patients with hypertension, including the dynamics on the background of the treatment to them. Identified factors indicators that are most sensitive to functional changes in the body. While significantly reducing the dimension of information shown signs of optimal ease of calculations produced. The results can be widely used for the analysis and prediction of the patient against the individually similar modes of therapeutic intervention.
Key words: heart rate variability, the principal component analysis, functional changes.
