Abstract. The influence of activity of immunosuppressive therapy (IST) at the onset of lupus nephritis (LN) on renal survival. Retrospectively evaluated for LN 52 patients with various IST in the disease onset. In the first group (1 man and 14 women), cumulative dose (CD) glucocorticoids (GCS) per os for the 1st year LN amounted 198,6±26 mg / kg. Additionally, patients received intravenously pulse therapy (PT) GCS. In group 2 (2 men and 35 women) without PT GCS CD GCS per os was 118,9±6,8 mg/kg. The study revealed that the survival of patients with renal LN positive effect of GCS active therapy in the first year of the disease.
Key words: systemic lupus erythematosus, lupus nephritis, glucocorticoids.
