Abstract. The ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) is a serious complication of assisted reproductive technologies (ART), pathogenesis of which is still researching. There are no means of preventing of OHSS every patient, because the definition of some degree of risk is a current direction of research studies. Objective our study is research the role of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in developing of OHSS. The comparative prospective cohort study of different risk factors of OHSS among 70 women performed IVF, ICSI was conducted. The molecular-genetic study of 6 polymorphic options of 5 genes, responsible of regulation of the RAAS and VEGF, was held all women. The following statistically significant combinations of genotypes were detected in our study: AGT 704 CC + AGTR2 1675 GG и AGT704 CC + NOS3 894 GT.
Key words: ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, risk factors, genetic variation, polymorphism, the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, and the vascular endothelial growth factor.
