Abstract. The assessment of level onkomarker (AFP, REA, the PSA, SA-125) and regulyatory cytokine IL-18 at 512 inhabitants of various regions of Yakutia (middle age 45,26 ± 12,37 years), comparable on age and a floor without oncological pathology is carried out. The comparative analysis showed that significantly high levels of onkomarker and IL-18 are revealed at inhabitants of the Verkhnekolymsky region who on annual incidence of malignant new growths (2001-2010) is in the lead among 35 regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It should be noted that concentration of one of key cytokine the IL-18 involved in formation of the congenital and acquired immune answer, positively correlates with all studied onkomarker (р ≤0,01). Probably, such correlation is connected with an antineoplastic role of IL-18.
Key words: onkomarkers, interleukin-18, inhabitants of the Arctic.
