Abstract. The possibility of visualization of cell structures changes on model of a productiveCytomegalovirusinfection by means of the colloidal quantum dots (QD — semiconductor nanocrystals of cadmium sulfide CdS) was studied. The state of cell of light embryo of the human (LECh-3), infected by CMV (AD169 strain) was observed within 72 hours. Registration of fluorescence was carried out on an optical microscope of Leica 2500M DM. Changing of cell up to full destruction of a monolayer was registered. The possibility of using of CdS QD as fluorescent labels of new generation is shown.
