Abstract. The paper presents data of immunological research among workers of pulp and paper industry. It was founded that the decrease of white blood cells was obseved among workers (leukopenia applies to all components of the hemogram), functional activity of phagocytes, T-lymphocytes (CD3+, CD5+), T-helper cells, against the background of increasing concentrations of cytotoxic T-lymphocytes CD8+, natural killer (CD16+, CD56+) and B lymphocytes CD22+.
Key words: pulp and paper industry, workers, lymphocytes, reagins, immunoglobulins, phagocytosis
