Abstract. A comparative study of apoptosis in MDCK cell line was conducted using a new rhodamine-based photoactivated dye (ТМР-NN-813). The ТМР-NN-813 ability to visualize the particular changes in mitocondria structure induced by apoptosis was demonstrated for the first time. We demonstrated that ТМР-NN-813 is likely to bind cardiolipin.
Keywords: photoactivation, apoptosis, organelle trackers, rhodamine dye
