Abstract. The paper presents the differences in proteomic composition of serum electrophoretic analysis of the distribution of proteins of patients with schizophrenia and healthy persons Vertical electrophoresis (1D-SDS PAGE) is the first stage in the study of differences in the proteome studied groups. In the course of work there were identified differences in the spectrum distribution of proteins in patients with schizophrenia and healthy persons in 13 regions of molecular masses: 206, 180, 128, 97, 94, 88, 40, 32, 30, 28, 20, 15, 12 kDa. The obtained data can be used for further identification of proteins and studying them as potential biomarkers of schizophrenia.
