Abstract. In recent years, there has been a growing trend in the volume of coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) operations using artificial circulation (АС). These modern methods show high efficiency in improving the quality of life of patients with coronary heart disease (CHD), reducing the risk of heart attack and mortality. However, surgical interventions are associated with the risk of developing a systemic inflammatory response (SIR), which can lead to complications. The aim of the study was to analyze the levels of pro-inflammatory markers in patients after CABG in АС conditions. Materials and methods. A controlled study was conducted on the basis of the FEFU Medical Complex in Vladivostok. The group consisted of 119 patients with coronary artery disease. Venous blood sampling was performed before surgery – group 1, immediately after – group 2, on day 2 – group 3, on day 7 – group 4. The level of leukocytes, the specific gravity of neutrophils, lymphocytes, the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), the concentration of procalcitonin (PCT), the level of C-reactive protein (CRP) were determined, and the neutrophil-lymphocyte ratio (NLS) was calculated. A correlation analysis of the relationship between PKT, SRB and NLS has been carried out. The statistical analysis was performed using the StatTech software (Stattech LLC, Russia). Results. Data on a significant increase in leukocytes and neutrophils, an increase in ESR, CRP, PCT — indicate the development of SVR. These changes reflect the activation of immune mechanisms in response to surgical trauma and stress. The severity of ITS is confirmed by a significant increase in the concentration of CRP and PCT, however, their concentration reached a peak only on the 2nd day, unlike other indicators. At the same time, the number of lymphocytes and the change in the NHS changed dramatically immediately after surgery and is an earlier predictor of SIR. Conclusion. Monitoring of the analyzed laboratory markers will allow timely detection of complications associated with systemic inflammation and take the necessary measures for their prevention and treatment.
