Epidemiological Situation by Cancer Incidence Rate at the Territory of Sverdlovsk Oblast

Abstract.

Sverdlovsk Oblast is one of the highly urbanized subjects of Russian Federation with high ecological load, climate and geographic peculiarities, regressive type of demographic situation, low stuffing of territorial medical services by therapeutists and pediarticians. The situation in the Oblast is characterized by increase of cancer incidence rate, low index of diagnosing cancer in the I and II stage. Putting into operation of the modern oncological complex and organizational restructurization of the already existing health care institutions has made positive impact over increasing the amounts and quality of inpatient medical services, but at the same time the hospital stage of medical services needs some organizational correction.
