The aim of the present study was to investigate the risk factors related to traumatic teeth injuries of juniority and early school aged children with mixed dentition trauma. Investigation of epidemiological parameters was done in 1048 patients with mixed dentition aged 6–8 months. According to research data children with inadequate lip coverage were 4.2 times more likely have tooth injuries (58,2% of children) than children without trauma (13,6%).
There was a statistically significant difference between traumatic dental injuries and overjet (P < < 0.001). It was concluded that these orthodontic parameters can be use as medical-biological factors related to teeth trauma.
