Physical activity and public health care

Abstract. The aim of the work was to investigate the role of guarantees of physical activity of the population in the sphere of public health care. Procedures and methods. There has been carried on an anonymous questioning of the population (2941 persons) and health care organizers (297 persons), including 34 experts on the problems of public health state, health preservation, strengthening and restoration. Results. Physical activity of the population has been evaluated. Significance of physical activity and its place in a wide spectrum of health determinants have been established. There have been determined sectors of the state and society which must influence physical activity, as well as gradation and significance of nine informative criteria of guarantees of physical activity — a complex vector for evaluating success in intersectoral cooperation on the problems of public health care. Conclusion. The obtained results may be realized in the practice of public health care.
