Abstract. One of the factors that determine adaptive reserves of the body, homeostasis, immunity, physical and mental performance is profile of lateral organization of the brain. Interhemispheric asymmetry and interhemispheric interaction undergo significant changes under the influence of the training process. Special attention is attracted to the study of this issue in relation to the long jump, as information on lateral preferences in the discipline of track and field is very limited. The article carries out a comparative analysis of specificity of individual profile asymmetry, as well as its sensory and motor components of highly skilled athletes, specializing in the long jump.
Keywords: individual profile of asymmetry; track and field, long jump; skilled athletes
