Abstract. Introduction. A very small number of studies on the peculiarities of the formation and development of cerebrovascular pathology in representatives of different sex and age, and they relate mainly to epidemiological issues. In this regard, there is a need to better highlight this issue on the basis of a review of recent scientific research. The purpose of the study: to familiarize specialists of different profiles with the current state of the issue of sexual and age-related features of cerebrovascular pathology. Materials and methods. The materials presented in the well-known scientometric databases – Scopus, Web of Science, Pub Med, RISC, etc. mainly in the last 10-15 years. Given also the results of own research and the author's vision of the issues. Summary. According to numerous studies in representatives of different sex and age to a large extent differently formed and occur cerebrovascular disease. This requires modern personalized approaches to diagnosis, treatment and prevention.
