Abstract. Most of the research is aimed at elucidating the mechanisms of increasing respiratory resistance in immunity disorders. At the same time, there is very little information on the effect of bronchial obstruction on immunity indices. Objective: to study the reactions of the immunity system to the use of additional respiratory resistance (DRS). Methods: Inspiratory resistive respiratory loads of 20, 40 and 60% Pmmax were used. The study involved 26 people, the average age was 21.6±2.1 years. The content of serotonin, epinephrine and norepinephrine, the population and subpopulation composition of lymphocytes, the number of active phagocytes, the HCT and LCB test, the activity of the complement, the concentration of immunoglobulins of class G, A, and M in serum were measured. Results: It is shown that a resistive load of 40% Pmmax caused immunosuppressive changes in the population composition of lymphocytes and indices of nonspecific immunological resistance. Additional respiratory resistance of 60% Pmmax induced an immunostimulatory effect in the change in the population composition of lymphocytes and in the indices of nonspecific immunological resistance. Conclusions: the short-term effect of inspiratory resistive loads exerts a pronounced effect on the population and subpopulation composition of blood lymphocytes, practically without changing the level of secreted immunoglobulins.
Keywords: additional respiratory resistance, immunological parameters
