Abstract. An in-depth study of the morphology and identification of ultra morphostructural determinants myometrium in complicated childbirth uterine inertia is relevant to the ability to forecast and adequate therapy.
Objective: To investigate the ultrastructural characteristics of mitochondrial pathology myometrium at the powerless labor, using high-quality electron microscopic analysis of material and methods.
Material and methods. The study included 10 pregnant women: I group — five women whose labors proceeded with the powerless labor, group II — 5 women — with a coordinated labor. By electron microscopic examination watched over 200 sections. Presented to the demonstration 27 electron microscopic image.
The results of the study. During the electron microscopic examination of samples of the myometrium camping identified criteries for the existence of mitochondrial disease, which give grounds to speak about the significance of the weakness of their labor. With the weakness of labor activity occurs ultramikrostrukture myometrium change with the formation of degradation of cell architecture, including severe destruction of the cell nucleus. Those most exposed to the defeat of the mitochondria in muscle cells, endothelial cells of blood vessels, which leads to malnutrition of the myometrium. Describe the pathologic changes in the myometrium at the weakness of labor make appropriate limitation of induction of labor. Further systematic study of vital signs of pregnancy may contribute to the classification of the weakness of labor as a mitochondrial disease.
