The noninvasive experimental models of the physiological and pathological hypertrophy of rat myocardium

Abstract.

The essential distinctions in morphometric parameters of cardiomyocytes were shown not only between physiological (caused by regular swimming) and pathological (caused by monocrotalin injection) myocardial hypertrophy but also between the type of adaptation to loads in male and female rats.
