Abstract. Anemia is one of the most pressing and relevant issues facing modern society, affecting approximately 24.3% of the global population. It has been shown to deprive various body tissues of oxygen, thereby triggering numerous disorders across all systems. Potential consequences include decreased immunity, cardiovascular disease, changes in the morphofunctional characteristics of the hematopoietic organs, cognitive impairment, and more. The aim of this study was to evaluate the morphofunctional parameters of the liver and spleen in rats with experimental posthemorrhagic anemia and its correction. Materials and methods. Data are presented on peripheral blood and bone marrow parameters. The structure and morphology of the spleen and liver were assessed in posthemorrhagic anemia and its correction with the combination drug Ferro-Folgamma Neo. Results. Ferro-Folgamma Neo was found to enhance the proliferation of erythrocyte precursor cells, lymphocytes, and eosinophils in the bone marrow, followed by their release into the bloodstream to replenish (compensate) lost blood cells. Ferro-Folgamma Neo was shown to activate the liver's regenerative potential in experimental posthemorrhagic anemia. Correction of posthemorrhagic anemia with Ferro-Folgamma Neo was found to not only normalize structural changes in the red pulp but also significantly activate the spleen's immunological functions, resulting in a significant increase in the area of the white pulp and the number of lymphoid follicles. Thus, the drug «Ferro-Folgamma Neo» has a stimulating effect on hematopoiesis, and also has a complex effect on the organs – the liver and spleen, affecting their functions, metabolism and distribution of iron in the body.
