Abstract.
Comparative study of the results of emergency action for 91 patients with uncomplicated for the first time arisen atrial fibrillation attack was carried out. For the first time arisen atrial fibrillation therapy was found to be unproductive in the first hour of observation at a pre-admission stage. Atrial fibrillation attack was eliminated only to the end of the first day regardless of used antiarrhythmic preparation in more than 83% of cases. Refusal of antiarrhythmic therapy at pre-admission stage increases patients number with not arrested to the end of the day atrial fibrillation attack though therapy refusal in initially low heart rate has no considerable effect on attack termination time in this patient group.
Key words:
for the first time arisen atrial fibrillation, emergency care, pre-admission stage.
