Abstract. The research is dedicated to the influence of performing work duties on psycho-physiological functional state of military men referring to different success groups in military professional adaptation (MPA) within the process of performing compulsory routine element of military service, i.e. internal duty service. 92 draft military men took part in the research project. The research was conducted in equal periods of 24-hour duty. We identified direct parameters: systolic and diastolic arterial pressure, heart rate and applied calculation method in identifying blood volume per minute, peripheral vessels resistance; functional reserves by applying Stange test; psycho-physiological characteristics of organism’s functional state with the help of «Black and Red Chart» and «SAN» methods. It was revealed that during tiring internal duty service military men with satisfactory level of military professional adaptation (MPA) display functional states which are characterized by dynamic dissonance of bodily functions followed by drop in efficiency and higher psycho-physiological costs of activities. Distribution of draft military men into groups based on their military professional adaptation (MPA) level allows us to foresee the character of the formation of their organisms’ system reaction and effectiveness of their work within the framework of performing their duties as part of their military service.
Keywords: psycho-physiological functional state, draft military men, military professional adaptation, physiological activity costs
