Abstract. The development of modern scientific researches in the field of medicine is possible only on condition of the integrated approach based on the engaging the developments and works of the fundamental medicobiological, natural and exact sciences as well as new technological solutions. In this article the main directions of the realized concept of work management automatization at a medical department as well as the principles of medical information storage are defined.
The main information object of management in developed automated workplace «ORL unit» is the document «Out-patient Card» in which information on registration data, treatment, analyses, outcomes, etc. is accumulated.
For the developed software package the system of many access levels use was realized. We realized the following basic principle: many users — many access levels to information — many passwords.
Backup of information has a very great value for keeping its integrity in the case of various emergencies. The special automatic system of triple backup is developed for the package.
The approaches used in work considerably increase the reliability of storage and processing of medical information, it is reliably reserved and protected from distortion and stealing.
Keywords: automated workplace, electronic document flow, database, automatization, storage and information security, out-patient card, access levels
