Abstract. It was revealed a decrease of the total number of histone proteins and histone fraction H2A, H3 and H4 in rat blood lymphocytes with alloxan diabetes. Modulation of macrophage activity was accompanied by a decrease in total leukocyte, lymphocyte fraction, but not normalization of histone proteins content that were changed during alloxan diabetes.
