Abstract: Research objective. To study the changes in coagulative properties of blood in patients with basal cell skin cancer in the immediate postoperative period. Materials and methods. Coagulation properties of blood in patients with basal cell skin cancer were studied in the immediate postoperative period. The study included 76 people, of whom 39 patients suffered from basal cell carcinoma, 20 patients were diagnosed with dermatofibroma (comparison group 1) and 17 were relatively healthy (comparison group 2). Results. The study revealed the following changes in the indicators of procoagulant mechanisms of the hemostatic system in patients with basal cell carcinoma before surgical treatment: a statistically significant prolongation (compared to relatively healthy people) of prothrombin time, an increased international normalized ratio and a decreased prothrombin index. All these factors are the first symptoms of consumption coagulopathy, which is the second stage of chronic DIC. At the same time, the aPTT values increased significantly, which indicated a decrease in the activity of the internal mechanisms responsible for the activity of the prothrombinase complex. In addition, there was an increased level of fibrin. Surgery did not lead to correction of these indicators.
