Abstract. This paper presents a comparative analysis of specific vertical stability of qualified athletes. Basketball players (n = 15) and tennis players (n = 13) aged 18–23 took part in the investigations. It is shown that statistically significant parameters specification in statokineziogrammy is typical for basketball players compared with table tennis players, regardless of the conditions of vision deprivation. It testifies to their better improved mechanisms for the regulation of athletes’ postural vertical posture.
Keywords: vertical stability, stabilography, basketball, table tennis, highly trained athletes
