Abstract. The aim of the study was to identify and compare the information content of the main biochemical, cellular-hematological and functional-psychological biomarkers, reflecting the processes of physiological and accelerated (pathological) aging of the patient’s body for use in diagnosing their biological age. Materials and methods. A clinical randomized parallel controlled study was carried out, in which the age-related dynamics of biochemical, including lipid peroxidation and antioxidant activity (LPO and AOA), cellular hematological, including stem pluripotent hematopoietic cells CD34 +, and functional and psychological parameters of the body of practically healthy people under physiological aging and accelerated polymorbid pathology, recorded by the state of their biological age (BA). A total of 5296 patients were examined voluntarily: 3395 males and 1901 females. The examined patients had a calendar age (CA) from 18 to 93 years, were divided by sex and health status (practically healthy patients and patients with polymorbid pathology with accelerated aging — in a 1: 1 ratio). Results. Biochemical, cellular-hematological and functional-psychological indicators of the organism to varying degrees reflected the rate of aging and the duration of the forthcoming life span. Functional and psychological indicators most optimally reflected the rate of aging of the body, since they turned out to be the most calendar-age-dependent. Biochemical and cellular-hematological indicators did not reveal such a high age dependence, to a greater extent being more stable and conservative, reflecting the stability of the body’s homeostasis and, apparently, the probable life expectancy. Judging by the results of the correlation analysis, the biological age calculated using additional derivatives from the measured base values, especially if functional and psychological indicators are used for this, most accurately reflects the rate of aging, in contrast to the bio-age calculated using only basic indicators of direct measurement.
