Abstract. In recent years, numerous studies scientists are increasingly point to the importance of presence in the placenta of metabolic disturbances associated with lack of circulation, and in violation of the ultrastructure of cells in the architecture of gestational and birth defects.
Objective: To investigate the ultrastructural characteristics of the placenta to identify morphological criteria mitochondrial pathology at the powerless labor, using high-quality electron microscopic analysis.
Material and methods. At present, prospective study included 10 pregnant women aged 21–30 years (mean age 26.0±1.2 years): I group — five women whose labors proceeded with the weakness of labor activity; group II — coordinated labors. In this study, we conducted electron microscopic examination of the placenta with a weak state and coordinated labor. It has been studied 10 tests, viewed more than 200 sections. Presented to the demonstration 27 electron microscopic image.
Results of the study. Based on the studies and the data obtained the following conclusions: the weakness of labor occurs defeat the placenta at the ultrastructural level with the formation of degradation of cell architecture, including the pronounced changes in the cell nucleus. Those most exposed to the defeat of mitochondria in endothelial cells of blood vessels, sintitsiotrofoblaste, which leads to malnutrition fetoplacental complex. Decompensation placental complex in the weakness of labor is a consequence of dysfunction ultramorfostrukturnyh elements placental cells, microcirculation, metabolic syndrome and acute indications for emergency operative delivery.
